It is indeed inspiring to live in a City that celebrates women. Under the patronage of Sheikh Fatima Bint Mubarak, the Mother of the Nation festival welcomes families to enjoy a few days of creativity, fun and educational moments. The festival lights up the beach and brings the Capital, Abu Dhabi to life. The various zones create an atmosphere of fun for everyone. I felt like a kid with my kids. Every year we try to make it to the event. I am always keen to take my kids to experience something new and different. Are you a mum or dad in search for something different to do with the kids? The festival usually takes place in March on the beautiful corniche in Abu Dhabi.

Imagine walking beneath canopies of giant flowers? Sitting in a tepee enjoying the sunset over the beach while your kids run around freely enjoying all the activities and shows. Be amazed as the night lights up from the festival lights. Every year is unique. For a small fee, it is undoubtedly a place created for families to learn, grow and value the small important things in life.

My kids and I had fun and stayed the entire night enjoying the fantastic sights and entertainment. Time does fly, and as parents, we look back at the moments we spend with our kids.
