We all have those voices in our heads. Sometimes they sound positive, moving us forward in life and helping us reach our goals and desires. But there are dark times when we hear negative thoughts trying to filter their way through all our positive actions. No matter how hard we try to silence these negative voices, they seem to grow louder. Without the right support, guidance, and help, we might give up.
Before that happens, how can we mute these negative words forever? I don’t think it’s possible to be positive all the time. What life has taught me is that there is always a balance. There will always be an opposite effect in life. We know that opposites can attract.
Your positive thoughts and actions will attract negative thoughts and actions. It might not always come from you.
There are so many outside influences that try to control our thoughts, emotions, and wellbeing. Friends, families, our colleagues, acquaintances might become those negative voices we try to mute. They may or may not say things to us intentionally, but we will always hear and see what we want to.
Social media has become a part of our daily lives. Even if you are not addicted to social media, it can and will have an impact on you. No one is blind to social media. If you think you are not being influenced, maybe you should think again.
How can we silence these negative voices and thoughts? How can we take back our power from things and people that might have negative impacts on us?
We need to find our inner peace!
My religion just like so many other faiths requires me to pray. I certainly do pride myself for having a relationship with God. I was brought up to love and honor my relationship with God.
We are all different and unique in the way we journey through life. But no matter what the emotion might be, I believe our reactions are similar. Most of us cry at funerals or weep for joy! We laugh at jokes, and we scream when we get scared. We different, but life has taught us to react almost the same to similar situations.
No matter what your religion, ethnicity, culture, nationality, or identity is, you are a human being. You will grow old, and you will no longer exist. We all have to go through life journey, but we all will use a different kind of energy that will get us to the end of our life.
I have chosen calm, positive, and meaningful energy to exist. This knowledge of how I would like to exist in my life has become the core of who I am. Whatever centers around my core, I have learned to deal with in a positive and blessed way.
Take a moment to answer yourself?
- Have you found your inner peace?
- Are you struggling to feel peaceful?
- How does life look like for you?
- Do you feel tired all the time?
- Do you feel blessed?
- Are you happy?
Which voice is the loudest? The negative or positive voice?
Would you like to find your inner peace?
If we on a journey in life, wouldn’t we think of ourselves as explorers? Some of us stop searching for answers, tools, and strategies that will direct us on the right path in life. No, we give up and accept what life has to offer. Is this you?
It certainly is not me. Whatever I have learned in my life has come from my never-ending search for a path that will bring me closer to peace. All I want is a peaceful existence. I don’t want to worry about what people think, stress about work, or find myself battling with my inner thoughts. I want to deal with whatever life throws my way calmly and peacefully. There is no perfect life, and if you think others are living perfect lives, you are mistaken. Everyone has something that they are dealing with; it’s how we deal with life that will make a difference in our lives.
In a search for my inner peace, I stumbled on a meditation group. I have heard about Meditation, but I never thought I would want to practice it. I always remember to breath, and I have always been known to seem positive. But I also have to deal with loud, crazy, and unsettling voices that will make me feel bad about my life.
So I went and tried Meditation for the first time. It was relaxing and had an unusually calming effect on me. While listening to the calming voice of the meditation coach, I stopped thinking. I focused on the present and listened to the sound of my breathing. When my mind wanted to shift my attention to my life outside of my present moment, I breathed more in-depth and focused on keeping my thoughts clear. Just like the sea on a calm summer’s day, I could feel myself drift off. This feeling that I experienced created an awareness inside of me. To control and mute the negativity that comes my way, I need to stop and find my inner self.
What is Meditation?
There are so many ideas that surround this idea, but what stands out to me is that Meditation is the transformation of the mind. When you are meditating, you are using techniques that help you to concentrate and stay calm. For the mediation to have a significant impact on our mental wellbeing, we have to practice this transformation as often as we can. Just like going to the gym and working out so you can become physically stronger, toned, stay fit and healthy, our minds need a form of exercise that will keep us mentally stronger, fit and healthy. Meditation can help you achieve that.
