“Our life stories will ultimately define who we are” – Shahida
“A pen transmits the soul to the world” – Fennel Hudson
Words live in my soul. I woke up one morning having to get ready for work and start the day thinking about my love for writing. I have always had a strong connection to pen and paper. When I was younger having a diary was my lifeline to my soul. When there was no one to reach out, the words that I would write would ease me. I felt a sense of peace.
You should publish a book my best friend told me after expressing my love for writing. I have so much to write about, I said.
Well along time later here I am writing.
I hope my life journey, my thoughts and inspirations give your soul a sense of peace and a feeling that if she can, so can I!!
We all have the strength in us to overcome the trials, tests, and triumphs that life gives us. What we need is a voice that gives us that confidence to live the life that we desire. Sometimes our inner voice screams the loudest. Telling us that we should be fearful, that if we try, we might fail or tests our ability to think logically. We reach out to our friends and family and hope that they can shed light on a dark situation. Sometimes the advice they give us can cause more harm than good. Do they try to sabotage us intentionally? No!! I don’t believe anyone you think you can trust will deliberately give you wrong advice.
We have to protect our soul. We can only do this by having our inner voices guide us. We have to find ways to turn our inner voice into a voice of trust and reason.
But how is this possible, you might ask?
You can draw your strength from someone else’s story. Someone who doesn’t know you and that can cause no harm to you. We all have the same situations at times, but we overcome them differently.
My wish for you today is to give your inner voice confidence and allow it to guide you always.
