My Experience
I was fortunate to see the Louvre Abu Dhabi being built. On my way to work, I would see the museum slowly taking shape. I along with many people patiently waited for the opening in November 2017. I can’t believe it been a year already. The museum celebrated it’s one year anniversary on the 8th November 2018.
My favorite place in the museum has to be the outside overlooking the Arabian Gulf. The sunset is unbelievable. The outdoor seating provides an opportunity to escape the crowds of people inside enjoying and being amazed by the Galleries of art. Spending the day exploring artwork makes you feel connected to the past and gives you a feeling of admiration. We are fortunate in Abu Dhabi to have the opportunity of visiting the museum all year round. To all the travelers and tourists planning a visit to the Capital. Do not miss the chance of spending a few hours at the Louvre Abu Dhabi. The architecture, a dome shape surrounded by water, provides a great photo opportunity. The building is a vision of a great architect Jean Nouvel. There is also a green area to enjoy when leaving the museum and views of Abu Dhabi skyline.
